Knife Geometry, Design & Construction w/ Jason Knight

ABS Mastersmith Jason Knight will instruct students on how to properly Design a Knife.  Class will cover Functional Knife & Edge Geometry, Design, Construction, Developing Line Flow, Handle Design & Ergonomics. Many "Tricks of the Trade" will also be covered!  Schedule is as follows:

Day 1- Students will design their knives, and work with Jason on their design, refining it for improvement.

Day 2- Students will Forge the created Design, and Jason will cover Forging Techniques and some Forging "Tricks of the Trade".

Day 3- Students will Rough Grind their knives, and Jason wil cover Grinding Techniques and some Grinding "Tricks of the Trade".

* The expectation of the class is that students will leave with a great knife design, a Rough Ground knife that is ready for heat treatment, and Processes/Techniques for Creating Future Great Designs!
