Hidden Tang w/ Forged Guard Workshop

Skill Level:  Seasoned Beginner and Up (A "Seasoned Beginner" has forged a few knives and a few small blacksmithing projects)

In this 2 1/2 Day workshop, students will Create a Hidden Tang Knife with a Forge-Fit Guard!  Some bladesmithing experience is required for this class.  Students will refine their Bladesmithing skills, followed by Forge-Fitting a Guard.  Knife will be finished with a wood handle.  All aspects of the knife will be forged.  This class is for the serious Bladesmith with some experience, but can be enjoyed by experienced smiths as well.  All steps of the process will be covered, with tips and info resources.  Students must bring their own PPE (personal protection equipment, including Safety Glasses, Welding Gloves, Hearing Protection, and Respirator).

PreRequisites:  Students should be familiar with and have some experience with basic bladesmithing & blacksmithing processes to be successful in this class.
